London

A black poem about London

Photo by Luke Stackpoole on Unsplash

The black fog drifted

The Big Smoke lifted

Its engines repurposed

Its icons with new purpose

But the black dog now visits

He growls

He prowls

He disembowels

London you are so dark

Gray are your parks

Intent on demise

When will you rise?
